Description

Whether in the virtual classroom preparing future nurses for the workforce, on the bedside delivering patient care, or in the boardroom making critical decisions to help move the profession forward, nurses work around the clock to help improve the health of the nation and the global community. Building healthier communities requires nurses to be healthy too.
Therefore we challenge you to get fit because the future of nursing education and the health of communities depends on a healthy YOU!

As a continuation of NLN’s Fit for the Future Campaign, join us as we actively get fit and give back for ourselves and the future through the NFNE’s Gentle Yoga for Tension Relief led by Arlington-based Beth A. Wolfe.
Gentle Yoga for Tension Relief will be an opportunity to practice solutions for aches and pains that arise from sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time. In this mostly seated practice, we will demonstrate and practice simple stretches and poses that will help you release tension in your shoulders, neck, back, hips, hands, and jaw. No yoga experience required. Please bring a yoga strap (or belt/ exercise band/ rope) if one is available to you.

Zoom Link will be sent out on 2/25

Beth A. Wolfe

Beth is an Arlington VA-based Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) specializing in trauma informed yoga, a technique that assists in alleviating the symptoms of PTS(D).

Her primary work is sharing the incredible healing power of yoga with anyone who is interested in exploring the practice. Beth believes that everyone can benefit from the power of connection that yoga teaches, and she prides herself on meeting each student where they are, without expectation or judgement. Yoga is truly available to anyone, and the practice can (and should!) be adapted to meet the unique needs of each individual.
