Coming to the NLN Summit in DC? Ilse M. Wallace
RN, PhD, CNE
Ilse Wallace is a visionary nurse educator and executive leader with more than twenty years of experience in advancing curriculum excellence, accreditation readiness, and innovative teaching-learning practices across nursing and health-professions programs. Ilse holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and master's degree in nursing education from Florida Atlantic University, and a PhD in Nursing from Barry University.
She has served in faculty and senior leadership roles, including Dean and Associate Provost, providing institution-wide leadership for academic quality, curriculum and assessment strategy, clinical learning, and faculty development. Dr. Wallace is known for leading transformative academic initiatives, including curriculum revisions, AI-enabled teaching and learning innovations, faculty onboarding, and the development of a personalized learning platform.
Dr. Wallace is an alumna of the NLN LEAD program, co-authored an NLN vision statement on competency-based education, and presented at numerous conferences on nursing and higher education. Ilse is committed to driving excellence in nursing education through strategic initiatives and collaboration across programs, universities, and partners.
